An MPHC rating (Miles per hour of charge) is a way of rating the efficiency of electric vehicle batteries. The MPHC rating is found by driving an electric vehicle as long as possible before the car is completely dead.

The MPHC Corporation (Matthew Paraman and Harold Conson) is the corporation in charge of rating cars' MPHC. It was founded in 1989 by Matthew Paraman and Harold Conson, whose names make up the acronym "MPHC," which is also the acronym for Miles per Hour of Charge, which is what they're measuring.
